William B. Flippen, 1860-1890 -- Tulsa and Choctaw, OK News
Two persons, Chitto Buffington of Tulsa, OK and Mary Wallace, alerted me about the story aired by Tulsa's local news, KOTV, about a Choctaw resident, Charles White, who found a tombstone with the name of William B. Flippen and wanted to return it to his family.  "Years of exposure to the elements have taken their toll on the tombstone, but enough remains to show that Flippen was born in March 1860 and died in September sometime in 1890's.
Replies to the online article directed their attention to Flippen's information on our website.  For more on this KOTV news article, here's the link.
Thanks to Chitto Buffington and Mary Wallace for alerting me to this article.
