(99-17)  FLIPPEN - DeJARNETTE - ALLEN:
Hoping to find more information about Nancy FLIPPEN, daughter of Robert Scott FLIPPEN (c1755) and his second wife Elizabeth DeJARNETTE.  Nancy married Davis ALLEN in 1822, and my line is through their daughter, Mary ALLEN, who married Robert Albert JENKINS.  Looking for more information on Nancy and Davis and their children.  Any help would be appreciated.

(99-18)  FLIPPEN - WHITE - HOLT:
Looking for confirmation that Joseph Thomas FLIPPEN (b. 1822 KY) is a son of Jesse FLIPPEN (b. 10 Sep 1798 Barren Co., KY) and Elizabeth WHITE.  FLIPPIN FILES says Joseph may be the same person as Jesse's son Jobias (Jobes) FLIPPEN (b. 1822 Monroe Co., KY) but Gibson Co., TN marriages show a Jabes H. FLIPPEN marrying Patience HOLT 19 May 1860.  Is this a separate individual?  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

(99-19)  FLIPPEN - HANKINS - DeJARNETTE / DIGERNAIT:
My husband's great-great-grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth FLIPPEN (1830 VA - 23 Jan 1923 Fayette Co., PA) who married Lafayette Alexander HANKINS on 20 Sep 1860 in Charlotte Co., VA.  Sarah's death certificate listed her parents as John FLIPPIN and Sarah DeJARNETTE (misspelled DIGERNAIT).  Sarah's son was William Alfred HANKINS, born 5 Apr 1863 in VA, and they were on 1870 Charlotte Co., VA.  They moved to PA sometime after 1870.  Would like to know how Sarah fits into the FLIPPEN family tree?  Thank you.

(99-20)  FLIPPEN - GALLOWAY:
Seeking anyone who may know about a baby that was given up for adoption.  The baby was named Wendy Lee FLIPPEN at birth and adopted in Los Angeles, CA at the Children's Home Society.  She was born 5 Jul 1950 to Mr. FLIPPEN and Jane GALLOWAY (sp?).  Paperwork showed her father as 27 years old, married and of Danish national descent.  He was 5'10" and 160 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes.  He was employed and had 4 years in the army.  Jane, the natural mother, was a very pretty girl of 19 with fair skin, blue eyes and medium brown hair.  She was about 5'5", 135 lbs., Protestant and her background included German, Dutch, Swiss, Russian, Scotch and Irish.  The daughter has medical problems and her adopted sister, Robyn, is helping her find out more about her natural family.  All information will be kept confidential.

(99-21)  FLIPPIN - SMITH - HOLT - THEDFORD - HAMPTON:
Looking for verfication that Victoria Drucilla FLIPPIN, born 1870 and married John Thomas SMITH, Jr., was the daughter of Jabes (Jobias) FLIPPIN and Patience HOLT (dau. of James Preston HOLT and Nancy Haney THEDFORD).  My grandfather told me that his mother Victoria's parents died when she was a child and she went to live with one of her older sisters.  The sister was probably Mary (FLIPPIN) HAMPTON.  Oral family history has Victoria born in Barren Co., KY in 1870 and I know she died in 1950 in Paragould, AR.  Any help would be appreciated.  I am willing to trade information.
